1. As I was helping clear out some space, I found my box of Frappucino tops. It appears that I may have a problem. I have tried to stop before, cut down, maybe have one every other day, but when 3:00 rolls around, I start jonesing for the cool creamy, chocolaty, caffeine spiked goodness. I may need to talk to Dr. Drew. I have always re-cycled the bottles and thrown away the tops. Last year I decided to start saving them, in hopes of using them to craft with. Turns out we could have built the whole house with them. I did make a nifty pencil holder and I have alot more ideas, but I'm not sure I can decorate the entire house with Frappucino tops.
2. I finished this piece for the mantle yesterday but didn't have the patience to deal with it on the blog yesterday. I'm not thrilled with the finished product. (I never am, really. Note to self: Relax, nothing is perfect.) It is better then the Christmas trees, since it is spring. I will let you know if it passes the seasonal inspection. Now if I could only find the spring dishes before Saturday.
4.Truly inspiring! Jen Lemen has a wonderful Blog that I have a link to on the side. If you have not checked it out, do. I have been reading her blog for a while and she is amazing. Her latest inspiration is a trip to Rwanda to help a friend, her girls, and everyone she can along the way. I am often brought to tears reading her stories. (I know I cry easily, it doesn't mean it isn't heartfelt) Anyway, she gave her blog readers an opportunity to help her which many were overjoyed to do. If you are looking for inspiration, an example of faith , courage , or kindness, just give her name a click. You won't be disappointed!
